Frank W. Seibert, Sr.

Palm Beach Shores, FL - Frank W. Seibert, Sr., Age 93, of Palm Beach Shores, Florida, passed away January 27 at home with his family.

Born in Long Branch, New Jersey in 1924, he lived most of his life in Little Silver and Middletown, New Jersey. He moved to Palm Beach Shores, Florida in 1983 after his retirement as credit manager for GMAC Finance in West Orange, New Jersey.

He was predeceased by his wife of 53 years, Rachel Clark, who died on the same day in 2003; oldest daughter, Sally C. Seibert, and his brother, Laurence H. Seibert. He is survived by his son, Frank W. Seibert, Jr. and wife Patricia of Ocean Township., New Jersey; daughters Lindsay C. Reed of Palm Beach Shores, Florida; Katherine A. Stryker and husband William of Little Silver, New Jersey; Barbara J. Hansen and husband David of Palm Beach Shores, Florida; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He served in the Army in WWII as a trombonist in the 29th Infantry Division band. He was present at the Battle of the Bulge and Remagen Bridge and in his later years enjoyed telling his grandchildren about his war experiences.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, February 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery next to Embury United Methodist Church, 49 Church Street, Little Silver, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407-9926.
