AGE: 83 • Robbinsville

Fred E. Walker, 83, of Robbinsville, passed away on December 11, 2016, at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, NJ.

Born in Trenton, NJ and was a lifelong area resident. He retired from RCA/Sarnoff Research after 25 years. Mr. Walker was a member of the Gothic Fraternal Lodge #270 F&AM and of the Stangle Pottery Historic Society. Fred's second home was at Skippers Cove of Waretown where he participated in the Skippers Cove Beach Club Fishing Tournament since the first year until his passing. Fred enjoyed fishing but most of all being with his family.

Predeceased by his parents, Fred H. and Dorothy (Little) Walker; his wife, Dolores Walker and his siblings, Dorothy Libring, Geraldine West, Laura Thompson, John, Robert and Kenneth Walker; he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Fred E. and Heather Walker of Ewing, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.

Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, NJ.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a masonic service beginning at 8:00 pm. A second visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Saul Colonial Home.
