George A. Zisko

Freehold - Gregory A. Zisko, 49, of Freehold, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold. He was born in Perth Amboy and grew up in Marlboro before moving, with his wife, to Freehold 22 years ago. He worked in the Fireplace Industry for over 35 years, with positions ranging from salesman to chimney/gas technician. Gregory & his wife were avid New York Giants fans, who never missed a game. His other favorite hobby was playing guitar, especially with his friends during their jam sessions. He leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Alexis M. Zisko, his two beloved fur babies, Norry and Brianna, his father and step-mother Ronald and Mary Zisko, his mother and step-father Barbara and Tom Rohrer, two brothers, Wayne and Glen Zisko, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Allison Zisko, and Robyn and Jesse Watrous, a step-sister and brother-in-law Elisa and Robert Dahill, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Alyssa & Greg Palmieri along with many nieces and nephews and one great nephew. He was predeceased by a step brother James O'Connor. Relatives and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Monday, April 16, 2018 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM at the Waitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 501 Highway 79, Morganville, NJ. A funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at St. Gabriel's Main Church at 10:30 AM followed by interment in St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Marlboro.
