George "Big George" Komosinski

AGE: 66 • Parlin

George "Big George" Komosinski, age 66, of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in South Amboy he was a lifelong Parlin resident. Before his retirement one year ago he was employed as a parts Manager for B & B Auto in Marlboro where he worked for 20 years. Prior to that he was employed by Keystone Metals in Newark and was co-owner of George Louis Enterprises in Parlin. George was a member of the South Amboy Boat Club, was an avid motorcycle rider and a lifelong communicant of Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy.

He is predeceased by his parents, Louis & Irene (Sapoznik) Komosinski. Surviving are his sister & brother-in-law, Donna & Richard Mytnick of Sayreville and his cherished K-9 companion, Lou.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 9am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin followed by a 9:30am Mass at Sacred Heart R. C. Church in South Amboy with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Parlin. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 6pm to 9pm. The family has requested there be no flowers and donations in George's name be made to Sacred Heart School Endowment Fund, Washington Avenue, South Amboy, N. J. 08879.
