Glen Elmer Taylor

Glen Elmer Taylor died on August 18th, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Trauma Center in Nashville TN. He was born in Red Bank NJ and attended the Matawan School system. Glen was a member of First Baptist Church of Matawan where he also attended Sunday school until moving to Waverly TN, where he attended River Lake Baptist Church.

Glen was befriended and cared for by the staff of King Family Medical Center in Waverly, TN.

Glen loved the outdoors, he enjoyed camping and fishing the most.

A memorial service will take place at River Lake Baptist Church TN in his memory.

Glen is survived by his parents Shirly (Hertle) Taylor and Elmer Taylor of Matawan. He is also survived by his sister Lisa Taylor Lekernec and her husband Michael Lekenec of Lykens PA and his brother Alan Taylor and his wife Cindy (Doherty) Taylor of Matawan NJ. Glen leaves behind three nephews, Michael and John Lekernec of Lykens PA and Timothy Taylor of Matawan NJ as well as one niece Rachel Taylor of Matawan NJ. He also leaves behind many friends in Tennessee and New Jersey.

Burial will take place at Old Tennent Cemetery on Tennent Road in Manalapan NJ on Saturday September 9th at 11:00, with Dr. Rev. Louis Kisenwether officiating.
