Grace Urbano Obituary
Grace Urbano

AGE: 89 • Toms River

Grace Urbano (nee Juiliano), 89, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Aristacare at Manchester.

Born in the Vailsburg section of Newark, NJ, she lived in Jackson, NJ before moving to Toms River 50 years ago.

She was a parishioner of St. Justin RC Church, Toms River. Grace was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Conzentino, in 1973, three sisters Jean Pante, Marie Deconcilio, and Yolanda LaRusso and two brothers Carmine and George Juiliano. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Louis Urbano, a daughter Francine Campbell and her husband James of Toms River, her sisters Mildred Patty of Indiana, Rose Colombrita of Whiting, NJ, Ann Baydel of Lakewood, NJ, Adeline Fede of Toms River, Geraldine Murphy of Manchester and Nancy Urbano of Toms River, and two grandchildren Marisa and James Campbell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many others who referred to her as "Grandma Grace" due to her loving and welcoming nature. Grace grew up during the depression as one of 12 children. One of her biggest joys in life was cooking and she loved to share her meals with everyone around her. Grace was known to feed the neighborhood, welcoming neighbors and friends into her home for a home cooked meal as if they were family. The joys of her life were her grandchildren and she shared in every success and triumph alongside them. She also loved her grand-dog, an English bulldog named Missy with all her heart. Anyone who knew Grace remembers her vibrant personality and the fact that no one ever left hungry and without laughs after entering her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday 11:00am at St. Justin RC Church, 975 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. Burial to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
