AGE: 67 • Port St. Lucie, FL

Guy William Hart, 67, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at Regional Medical Center, Orangeburg, SC. Mr. Hart was born in Brooklyn, NY, and resided in Jackson Twp., NJ, before moving to Port St. Lucie one month ago. Mr. Hart proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and earned the National Defense Service Medal. He was employed as a Maintenance Mechanic for Reynolds Metal and Tray Chemical Company in Woodbridge, NJ, before his retirement in 2010. Mr. Hart was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp., NJ.

He was predeceased by his parents, George and Mary Hart. He is survived by his wife, Ann P. Hart; his son, Charles William Hart of Port St. Lucie; his daughters, Theresa Ann Bollard and her husband, Michael of Jackson Twp., and Angela Marie Larsen and her husband, Dane of Jackson Twp.; his brother, George Hart of Lanoka Harbor, NJ; his sisters, Linda Graziano of FL, Ginny Melhorn of FL, Cathy Mosher of FL, and Bonnie Marrinacchio of NJ; and his 7 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson. A funeral gathering will be offered at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at the funeral home. His funeral liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson. Interment will follow in Forest Green Park Cemetery, Texas Road, Morganville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Guy's memory to the Diabetes Action Research and Education Foundation, 426 "C" St. NE, Washington, DC 20002.
