AGE: 96 • Forest, VA

Harold J. Nadler, 96, of Forest, VA, passed away at home on December 22, 2016, peacefully. He was born in Fairview, NJ, on July 3, 1920. Harold worked as a photographer for the U.S. War Department during WWII and on the Manhattan Project. Afterward, he continued his career as a professional photographer in Union City, NJ. Upon retiring to the Jersey Shore, he built a motel where he spent many years until completely retiring to Florida.

Harold was predeceased by his parents, his wife Ruth Nadler, and his two brothers Edward Nadler and George Nadler. He is survived by his son John Nadler and his wife Fran; his daughter Theresa Busic Creegan and her husband Thomas Creegan; his granddaughters: Valerie Busic, and Robyn Busic-Eddy and her husband Bradford Eddy; his grandson Dr. Jon Nadler and his wife Melissa; his great-grandson Jackson Nadler; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 29, from 11 to 11:45AM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. The Funeral Service will be held at 12PM at Risen Christ Chapel, St. Joseph Cemetery, 56 Cedar Grove Road, Toms River, NJ. Burial will be immediately following.
