Toms River - Kilanowski, Henry, 100, of Toms River, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 23, 2018. Born in Passaic, he grew up in Lipno, Poland then East Rutherford and Paterson settling in Toms River in 1981. Prior to his retirement, Henry was a smelter for Curtiss Wright Corporation in Wood-Ridge for over 30 years. He was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church in Garfield and Saint Joseph's R.C. Church in Toms River. He was also a proud member of the Chopin Singing Society #182 Polish Singers Alliance of America in Passaic for many years. Henry was the beloved husband of the late Stephanie (Sarzynski) Kilanowski, devoted father of Gerald Kilanowski and his wife Beverly, of Anchorage, AK, Genevieve Natvig and her husband, Mike, of Highlands Ranch, CO, and the late Henry "Hank" Kilanowski Jr., dear brother to the late Kazmer, Theodore, Zigfried, and Walter Kilanowski and Genevieve Majewski. He is also survived by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday at 9:30 AM, from the Kamienski Funeral Home, 207 Ray Street, Garfield, and 10:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church, Garfield.
