Holly A. Chenal Obituary
Holly A. Chenal

Holly Ann Chenal, 52, of Toms River, NJ, died on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Albany Medical Center.

Holly had many interests and achievements in life. Her greatest love was her family and was so proud of her children's accomplishments. Never a helicopter Mom, yet always beyond super Mom, more in the realm reserved only for her, Mega Mom. While listening to the latest best music she created the hipster movement and passed this on to her first born.

Holly was smart, beautiful, well rounded, and funny with a quick wit. She loved music but couldn't sing, and successfully never once pumped gas even though she drove across the country. She hosted holidays that were perfect in every way and included cooking that would be fit for a king and his court. She never understood how athletic she was, but it included strength, balance, endurance and a first place transformation challenge win. Holly was the adventurous scientist and answered her daughter's questions so well that she made obsolete. Over 50, she took up fencing, ran the tunnel to towers race and made homemade maple syrup by tapping from the backyard tree, as well as brewing ginger beer and limoncello. Holly did all of this and more with such style and grace, that she made it look effortless.

Holly led by example and always encouraged her children to live life without fear of failure. Her positive encouragement and overwhelming love created a home and family atmosphere that will never be replaced.

All those who knew Holly understood what an extraordinary individual and role model she was for her family. The kindness, consideration, affection, helpfulness, deep spirit and good humor she showed to all, endeared her, without exception, to everyone.

Holly was predeceased by her brother Peter Amorski.

Surviving is her husband Steven Chenal, and her four children Jenn Fantaccione, Jessy Fantaccione, Nate Chenal, Cooper Chenal, and her mother Lynn Zapata and step father Jaime Zapata.

Visiting will be held, Thursday, February 2nd from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 6:00 to 9:00PM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River, NJ. All are welcome to a celebration of life service that will begin at 8:00 PM.
