AGE: 79 • Brick

Jerome T. Connor, age 79, of Brick, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born and raised in Wilmington, DE, he lived in Lavallette, NJ, prior to moving to Brick in 1968. He was employed by the Department of the Army for 40 years. He was Project Manager for Tactical Radio Communications Systems (TRCS) at Fort Monmouth, NJ, retiring in 2001. Jerry graduated the University of Delaware with a Degree in Electrical Engineering, a Masters in Computer Science and a Masters in Business Management. He was a parishioner of St. Dominic's Church in Brick.

Jerry enjoyed working on cars and loved watching sports, especially football and March Madness. Jerry "The Jeep" was an all-state football player who loved football and traveling. Jerry was always the life of the party. Jerry dearly loved his family. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. He will be greatly missed.

Jerry was predeceased by his parents Mary and John Connor and his sisters Marie and Joan Connor. He is survived by his wife Patricia (Frees) Connor; his children Jerome T. Connor Jr and his wife Shelly of London, UK; Kevin R. Connor and his wife Paula of Cupertino, CA; Patrick J. Connor and his wife Teri of Wall Twp., NJ; Dennis M. Connor of Sunnyvale, CA; and Janine C. Winkley and her husband William of Howell, NJ; 12 grandchildren, Kyle, Alexis and Kiersten Connor; Emma, Elise, Lauren and Connor Winkley; Joseph, Natasha and Sonia Connor; and Evan and Liam Connor; his sister Janet O'Rourke; and his brother James Connor.

A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at 10 am at St. Dominic's Church, Brick. Condolences can be sent to the family at Colonial Funeral Home, Brick, is in charge of arrangements.
