AGE: 83 • Howell

Joan Huderwitz, 83, of Howell passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Meridian Nursing and Rehab Facility in Brick. Mrs. Huderwitz was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She previously worked at Charles on the Ritz Perfume Company in Holmdel. She loved cooking, shopping and spending time with her loving family. She was a former member of St. Mary's RC Church in Middletown.

Born and raised in Bayonne, she raised her family in the Belford section of Middletown before moving to the Ramtown section of Howell in 2006.

Mrs. Huderwitz was predeceased by her loving husband, George Huderwitz Sr. whom she was happily married to for 60 years; parents, John and Margaret Kuz; sister, Marge Balog; and by her grandson, Matthew Huderwitz. Surviving are her children; Joan Coberg and her husband, Charles of Howell, George Huderwitz, Jr. and his wife, Laura of Toms River, Donna Holbert and her husband, Larry of Howell, Margaret Bagarozy and her husband, Doug of Overland Park, KS and William Huderwitz and his wife, Colleen of Toms River; sister, Carolyn Kuz of Asbury Park; 13 grandchildren, William (Danielle), Charles, Dana (Jack), Drew (Kelly), Danielle, Nicole (Vinny), George III (Jill), Kaitlin (John), William Jr., Ty, Robert, John and Maria; as well as her 10 great grandchildren, Deana, Kennedy, Gavin, Reagan, Olivia, Vincent, Penelope, Ava, Frankie and Harper.

Visiting will be on Wednesday from 5-9pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be held on Thursday 10am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Middletown. Donations may be made in her name to the . For more information please visit
