John A. Cirillo

Howell - John A. Cirillo, 92, of Howell passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Wedgwood Gardens Care Center in Freehold Township. He was born in the Bronx, NY and had lived in Jersey City for most of his life. John moved to Bayville in 2001 and retired in Toms River. He worked as a manager for Western Electric and AT&T in Kearny and Clark Township, retiring in 1989. John was a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II, serving in the European theater. He was also a past commander of the American Legion in Jersey City, Post 19 in Bayonne, and Post 351 in Seaside Heights.

John is survived by his wife of 67 years, Angelina Cirillo of Pine Beach; children, Marie Simnor and her husband, Dan of Howell, Debbie Kulda and her husband, Vincent of Valley Stream, Long Island, New York, Kathleen Sica and her husband, Jack of Hohokus, and Anthony Cirillo and his wife, Lois of Pine Beach; nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Routh 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 8:30 AM for the procession to his 9:30 AM Funeral Mass at the Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9, Howell.
