AGE: 82 • Brick

John M. Trione, 82, of Brick, passed away on December 25, 2016. Born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Angelina Camero Trione and John Trione. John went on to join the Marines in 1954 and proudly served his country as a member of the USMC. In 1956, he married the love of his life, Guiseppina "Pina" in Bari, Italy, they were married until her passing in 2004. Pina and John settled in Brick where they built their family home and raised their two sons, John J. and Dominick. John made his living as a master tile setter. Those who knew John enjoyed his practical jokes (mostly), playing cards (he always let you know when he was about to win), and his stories of hunting and fishing (his beloved dog Patches was allowed to join the family as a "hunting dog" - though she never once hunted). John was predeceased by his three brothers, Peter, Sr., Dominick and Nicky. He was also predeceased by his nephews Jackie and Peter, Jr. John is survived by his loving sons who cared for and helped him especially during these last few years. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews and his cherished granddaughters Jessica, Aly, Emily and Tia, as well as their mothers, former daughters-in-law Nancy and Gina. John was supported these last few years by his niece Debi Gormley, Nancy Trione and the companionship of Kathy Shouldice. Arrangements are being handled by Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick. Viewing will be Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 4pm to 8pm. Service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Ocean County Memorial Park at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ASPCA or a .
