Joseph Daniel Milora Obituary
Joseph Daniel Milora

AGE: 75 • Barnegat

Joseph Daniel Milora, 75 years young, passed from this world March 3rd 2017 the way he lived while in it... surrounded by family, and with his signature strength of will and character.

Born at Hazleton State Hospital to Jennie and Joseph Milora, raised in Hazleton with brothers Nicolas and David, joined the army at 17 earning his GED while assigned to the motor pool. Joe built on this foundation earning his Bachelors of Engineering from Newark College of Engineering then his MBA from the same, now renamed New Jersey Institute of Technology, all while working full time. Joe met Anna Mae Ferrari at a town carnival in West Hazleton in April 1960, starting a life long friendship, love and marriage that has lasted 53 years. Son Joe arrived in 1967 with Ray following in 1970, the family rooting themselves in Middlesex NJ until retirement and their move to Barnegat NJ.

With a smile and laugh that could light up a room Joe has kept himself busy in retirement as a parishioner of Saint Mary's Church in Barnegat, member of the Knights of Columbus, volunteering at Ken's Kitchen for the past 15 years, as an avid card and bocce player, a member of the Italian American Club, the Mirage Men's Club, a lifelong amateur radio operator, home brewer, craft beer sampler and dedicated fisherman.

Joe is survived by his loving wife Anna Mae; sons, Joe (and wife Debbie) and Ray; brothers, David and Nicholas; grandsons, Robert and Vince; nephews and nieces, Debbie, Cindy, David, Joe, Pat, David, Nicholas, Michael, Yvonne, Gary, Robert, Jennifer, Katelynn and Michael.
