Kathleen T. (Sheridan) Kearney, 82 of Berkeley Twsp., NJ died on Monday January 2, 2017 at Hampton Ridge Nursing facility in Toms River, NJ. She was born in Newark, NJ and lived in New Providence, NJ and Bridgewater, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twsp., NJ 6 years ago. Kathleen was a graduate of both St. Joseph Grammar School and St. Charles Borrmeo High School both in Newark, NJ. She was a supervisor for NJ Bell in Millington, NJ and had worked there for 42 years. Kathleen was a member of the Women of Irish Heritage , John Cryan Association, NJ Bell Pioneers Club and on the reunion committee for St. Joseph Church in Newark, NJ.

Kathleen is predeceased by her father Daniel Sheridan of Rathmullen Co. Donegal, Ireland, her mother Rose (McKenna) Sheridan of Corrvaccen Co. Monaghan, Ireland, her husband Michael Kearney, her nephew William "Billy" Sheridan and her sister-in-law Arlene Sheridan.

Surviving are her brothers Daniel Sheridan of Toms River, NJ, Peter Sheridan of Bloomfield, NJ, William Sheridan and his wife Helen of Toms River, NJ and Thomas Sheridan and his wife Bernadette of Union, NJ; her eight loving nieces and nephews and many cousins here and from Ireland, Scotland and England.

Family will receive friends on Thursday January 5, 2017 from 2-6pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday January 6, 2017 at 9:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Berkeley Twsp., NJ. Burial will follow to Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to either www.cancer.org/donate or National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation www.npcf.us.
