Sea Girt - Kenneth G. Jelliff, 72, of Sea Girt passed away at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from complications due to a stroke with his loving family by his side. Ken was born and raised in Neptune and had lived in the Glendola section of Wall for a few years before moving to Sea Girt 47 years ago. He had worked for JCP&L for 40 years as a lineman, Community Affairs and Layout Technician. Ken was a communicant and Eucharistic Minister of St Mark's Church, Sea Girt, an active member and past treasurer of Holy Name Society, a member of the Sea Girt Fire Company #1 for 39 years, where he was a past chief and past president of the fire company. He volunteered his time by being on the local board for March of Dimes. In his spare time Ken enjoyed going to the gym, walking his two Irish terriers with Lynn, gardening and spending time with his family especially his granddaughter Madilynn.

Ken was predeceased by his parents Neil and Ruth Jelliff. He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years Evelyn "Lynn" Jelliff of Sea Girt; a loving daughter and son-in-law Eliza and Christopher Willms of Spring Lake Heights; a beloved brother and sister-in-law Skip and Valerie Jelliff of Neptune and his cherished granddaughter Madilynn.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 5-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 am on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at St. Mark's Church, Sea Girt. Cremation will be private.
