Kristopher Charles "Casey" Goins Obituary
Kristopher Charles (Casey) Goins, 31, of Neptune, formerly of Belmar, passed away at home October 2, 2017. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and friend to many.
Casey is survived by his mom, Teresa and step-dad, Brian Hruska, with whom he resides in Neptune. His sister, Stephanie, her partner TJ O'Sullivan and their daughter Ava (even though he had only just met his niece 2-1/2 weeks before his passing he loved her dearly and was a proud uncle). His mom-mom and pop-pop, Joan and Norman Burke. His step-sister Heather and step-brothers Brian and Kyle and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He is predeceased by his father, Charles Goins, Jr., his uncle Greg Lindsay and his paternal grandparents, Jean and Charles Goins, Sr. Casey also leaves behind his best friend Pork Chop and his puppy niece Layla both of whom he adored.
Casey was a wonderful cook, talented songwriter, musician and artist, having brought to life the infamous Woozy Goose. He also loved to have fun. He was a good dancer and had a great sense of humor and a heart of gold.
Casey was an avid Phillies fan and loved going to games with his dad and sister. He loved to play baseball growing up, starting with T-ball all the way through high school and was an excellent pitcher.
Casey touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He, along with his sister, are my heart and soul and our lives will not be the same without him.
