Lena Hall Perkins 96, of Neptune, New Jersey went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March15, 2017 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Lena was born in Atlantic Highlands to the late Joel and Florence Hall on March 16, 1920. Lena grew up in the Atlantic Highlands Middletown area having been educated in the Atlantic Highlands and Middletown Township school systems. Lena was married to the late Harold E. Perkins Sr., She was a dedicated housewife and mother. Lena served as an Usher and a member of the Missionary Ministry at the St. Paul Baptist Church in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey. At the time of her passing, she was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

Lena was predeceased by her parents Joel and Florence Hall, her husband, Harold E. Perkins, Sr., two sons, Harold E. Perkins, Jr. and Kenneth L. Perkins, four grand-children, Richard Perkins, Stephen Anderson, Timothy Perkins Jr., Agnes Diane Maith, and two great-grand-children Andre Anderson and Frankie Moore. She is survived by her children, Martha Anderson, Sacramento, California, Joan Rose, Long Branch, NJ, Rev. Robert Perkins (Ellen), Middletown, NJ, Ann Cagle Garcia, (Luis) Neptune, NJ, Audrey Wright (Warren), Palm Bay, Florida, Diane Perkins, Long Branch, NJ, Rose Nixon, Neptune, NJ, James Perkins, Union, NJ, Sherry Cox, (Curtis), Neptune, NJ, Timothy Perkins, Freehold, NJ, daughter-in-law, Beverly Perkins, twenty-six grand-children, thirty-four great-grandchildren, 35 great-great-grand-children,1great-great-great-grand-child, and a host of relatives and friends. Lena was a loving and caring mother, grand-mother, great-grand-mother, great-great-grand-mother, and great-great-great-grand-mother who enjoyed her time with all her children. She loved the Lord and she lived her life for the Lord to the fullest. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday March 24th from 6 to 9PM and Saturday March 25th at 10:00AM until the celebration of life service at 11:00AM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church located at 61A Cherry Street Tinton Falls, New Jersey.
