Lillian M. Schneller Obituary
Lillian M. Schneller

Toms River - Lillian M Schneller, age 86, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 peacefully surrounded by her family. Lillian was born in Yonkers, NY to George and Maria Schneider on May 6, 1932. She started her family in Rahway, NJ when she married the love of her life Robert on May 21, 1955. They relocated to the Jersey Shore in 1961. Until her retirement, Lillian worked as a principle's assistant for Ocean Road School in Point Pleasant, NJ for over 25 years. Lillian was a parishioner of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Lillian's main passion in life was her family. She was enthusiastic and the life of the party. The matriarch of the family, Lillian planned many holidays and vacations from Florida to California. One of her favorite adventures was a trip to Ireland for her husband's 50th high school reunion. Being active was an important aspect of her life. She enjoyed crafting, tole painting, playing tennis and golf. Most importantly Lillian loved to dance. At many functions, Lillian and Robert would be seen dancing to the song "I'm in the Mood for Love". The memories of the sound of music along with singing and snapping fingers will always remind us to enjoy life and live well.

Lillian is survived by her loving husband Robert Eugene Schneller, her daughters Deborah Love and her husband Tom, Donna Schneller and a long-time family friend Nancy Pierson, and Tracy Cavalli and her husband Michael. Lillian adored her grandchildren David Love and his wife Amanda, Adrianna Balog and her husband Brad, Hannah and Jonathon Cavalli. She shared many special times with her six great- grandchildren, Mercedes, Alexis, Brennan, Loreley, Cosette and Trey.
