Norfolk - Linda Pearl Credle Bradford, 61, of Norfolk, Virginia passed away February 12, 2018. Linda "Pearl" was born February 29, 1956 in Mesic, North Carolina to her mother Nettie Pearl Melvin and father Bruce Fisher.

Linda, originally from Red Bank, attended the Red Bank Public School System and graduated from Red Bank Regional High School in 1974. She was a member of The Youth Felicitares as a teen, was a baton twirler for Red Bank, attended Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, Creative Arts School, and Barbizon Modeling School in Red Bank.

She was a long-time employee of the state of New Jersey and New York in the Mental Health field.

Linda, loved by many, was a great mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. We are truly blessed to have another angel in the Great Heavens Above.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter's Wannetta Lynn Bradford, and Rosetta Ann Credle, grand-children, Beyonce' Bradford, Jolinda Bradford, and Elijah Bradford., brothers and sisters, Suzanne, Leona, Christopher, Cassandra, Jennifer, Bruce, James, Reginald, Clinton, Craig, Hiawatha, and Orlando, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Linda is predeceased by her father, Bruce Fisher, stepfather, Edward Melvin, sister, Pamela Fisher, and brother, Maurice Melvin.

Funeral and wake services are as follows: Wake 9-11am Thursday, February 22 at Pilgrim Baptist Church, Red Bank followed by the funeral beginning at 11 am.

Services entrusted to Cofer Memorial Home, Red Bank. Cemetery services private.
