Linda Mae Brahn Obituary
Linda Mae Brahn

AGE: 58 • Lake Como

Linda Mae Brahn, 58, of Lake Como, passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday morning, January 28, 2017. Linda was born and raised in Spring Lake. She attended H.W. Mountz, class of 1972 and Manasquan High School, class of 1976. She was a dedicated and hard worker, first spending 20 years with the company Lab-Volt, and most recently, 12 years working for the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore. Linda comes from a family of volunteer service workers and was very proud to continue in their legacy as a member of the Goodwill Fire Company #2 in Spring Lake from 2001 to present. She loved both salt and fresh water fishing, the beach, playing softball, listening to music, and especially singing (with her very beautiful voice) her favorite hits by Adele, Shania Twain, Celine Dion, Stevie Nicks and countless others. The only aspect of life that she loved more than her favorite pastimes was spending time with her closest friends and her tight knit family.

She is predeceased by her beloved mother Shirley Brahn, her maternal grandparents Stanley & Gladys Combs, and her paternal grandparents Charles & Emma Brahn. She is survived by her father, C. Russell Brahn & his wife, Liz; her brothers, Russ Brahn & his wife Donna; Don Brahn, Sr. & his wife Margie; Tommy Brahn & his wife Carol; Billy Brahn & his wife Deb; her many nieces & nephews: Kristen King Radic, Richie King, Cory King; Ben Brahn, Don Brahn, Jr., Brett Brahn, Tiffany Brahn; Chris Brahn, Justin Brahn, Shannon Brahn; Laura Brahn Ehrhardt, and their families; and also her dearest friends, Connie Walkowicz and Angela Scordato.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3rd from 4 to 8pm at Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South St. Manasquan. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 4th at 1:00 pm at the Wall United Methodist Church, Spring Lake Heights. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Linda's name to The Center, 806 3rd Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07712 or Goodwill Fire Company #2, 311 Washington Ave, Spring Lake, NJ 07762.
