Seaside Park, NJ - Lorraine Long, 87, of Seaside Park, NJ died on Sunday February 18, 2018 surrounded by her family at Green Acres Manor in Toms River, NJ. Lorraine was born in Leominster, MA and a long time resident of Seaside Park, NJ. She was a parishioner of St. Catharine of Siena in Seaside Park, NJ. She was a homemaker raising seven children who will miss her deeply. Living by the ocean, she was an avid beachgoer.

Lorraine is predeceased by her parents Oakley and Beatrice Blake; her husband Edward J. Long; her daughter Nancy Simpson and her brother Donald Blake.

Surviving are her children Maureen Catapano and her husband Salvatore of Hazlet, NJ, Edward F. Long of Seaside Park, NJ, Thomas Long and his wife Jeri of Island Heights, NJ, Michael Long of Gastonia, NC, Kellie Genova and her husband Michael of Darlington, PA and Patrick Long and his wife Mary of Bessemer City, NC; her brother Oakley Blake of Clifton, NJ; her 22 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

Family will receive friends on Thursday February 22, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 809 Central Ave. Seaside Park, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday February 23, 2018 at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery in Toms River, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to at or the Seaside Park Volunteer Fire Dept. Station #45 at 1 Municipal Plaza PO Box 201 Seaside Park, NJ 08752. Condolences may be sent by visiting
