Lynn A. Walters Obituary
Lynn A. Walters

Brick - Lynn A. (Weymer) Walters passed away on November 30, 2017 at Weill Cornell Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with Leukemia. Lynn was born on October 22, 1942 in Jersey City, N.J. She was married to Fred W. Walters and together they raised three children in Bayonne, N.J. Fourteen years ago, they relocated to Brick, N.J.

Lynn was a legal secretary for the Crummy, Del Deo (Gibbons) law firm in Newark, N.J. early in her marriage. She devoted herself to others, taking care of her Mother and Mother-in-law when they were ill, and always there when someone required help or consoling. Lynn was very involved in the Holy Family Academy and St. Peter's Prep Mothers' Clubs and worked tirelessly on their behalf while her children were students at their respective schools.

She was predeceased by her mother, Ann Sherry Weymer and her father, Richard Weymer. Lynn leaves behind to celebrate her life her husband Fred, a son Thomas R. Walters and his wife Kate, her daughter Christine A. Walters and her partner Thomas Linder, her daughter Donna M. Stabile Walters and her partner Joseph Ponce, and her five cherished grandchildren, Jake Stabile, Tiffany Stabile, Jack Linder, Jack Gramlich and Troy Gramlich, and her dearest sister, Carole O'Keefe. Lynn was a shining light of courage, compassion, humor and grace.

The Mass and Christian entombment were private. If so inclined, donations in Lynn's memory can be made to Calvary Hospital Hospice, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, N.Y. 10461. The family wishes to thank Dr. Gail Roboz of Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Agrawal and Dr. Amin of New Jersey Hematology Oncology Associates, and Laura McDonald of Calvary Hospital Hospice.
