AGE: 86 • Toms River

Margaret Cook Riccitelli, 86, of Greenbriar Woodlands Community, Toms River, died on November 20, 2017 at Arbors Care Center in Toms River. Born in Newark, Margaret was a graduate of Central High School. She was employed by Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company of Newark. She was a long time resident of Hazlet and employed by Creative Campus Nursery School from 1973 to 1978. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother and also taught CCD for St. Benedicts Church in Holmdel. She and her husband Louis moved to the Greenbriar Woodlands Community in 1990. She then became employed by Kimball Hospital in the Kimball Kids Day Care Center from 1991 to 1996.

She is predeceased by her loving parents Charles and Blanche Cook, two brothers, Charles and William.

She is survived by her loving husband Louis of 65 years, four sons, Steven and his wife Linda of Glendora, Richard of Tinton Falls, Ronald and his wife Lorraine of Barnegat and Nicholas and Mary of Hazlet. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Richard Riccitelli and his wife Peggy of Manchester. In addition she is survived by four grandsons, Ronald, Richard, Brian and Kevin, three granddaughters, 8 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

She was a great and loyal Yankees fan and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 4-8PM at the D'Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 9:15AM at the St. Luke Church, Toms River. Entombment will take place at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, NJ.
