Margaret E. Bolger (Nee:Ryan) 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at the home of her daughter, in Bayville, NJ, surrounded by her loving family.

Marge was born in Bayonne in 1937 to Margaret (Nee:Dawson) and William D. Ryan. {now deceased} Marge lived in Bayonne her entire life, until moving to the shore area with health issues.

She was a graduate of local schools and after graduation was employed by Emerson Electric Co. and then Beneficial Finance Co. where she met the love of her life, Nicholas G. Bolger. Marge and Nick were married in 1959 and had a happy and loving marriage until Nick's passing in 2010.

Marge chose to be a stay at home Mom with their three daughters. Marge and Nick were very involved with the St. Andrew's Home School Association when their daughters were enrolled. Later, for a number of years, they were volunteers as adult advisors for the Search Program, a spiritual program for Catholic teenagers. They held many group meetings in their home and offsite retreats.

For ten years, Marge was the primary caregiver, in her home, for her late brother David, during his illness.

Marge had a talent for home decorating and enjoyed gardening around her home. She enjoyed spending time at the family summer home in Avon-By-The-Sea, New Jersey. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and especially enjoyed Irish music. She was a member of the Irish American League of Bayonne. Marge was a lifelong parishioner of St Andrew's Church, and was a member of their Rosary Society.

Beloved Wife of the late Nicolas G. Bolger. Devoted Mother of Kathleen Suarez (Jeffrey), Peggy Oldakowski (Joseph), and Kelly Bolger-Pilanski (Edward). Cherished Grandmother of Megan Tucker (Bryan), Mark Farley, Lauren Suarez and Tom McLoughlin, Alyse Oldakowski and Matt Bartoromo, Ashley Persichino (Joseph), Maggie Rose Oldakowski, Jane Pilanski, Steven Pilanski, and Bea Pascual. Adoring Great-Grandmother of Kali, Mae, Chloe, and Brinlee Tucker. Dear Sister of William D. Ryan. Robert J. Ryan and the late David J. Ryan. Marge also leaves many cousins, relatives and dear friends. She will be missed by the Ryan- Sweeney Family.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Viewing on Monday, March 13th from 4 - 8 PM at the G. Keenen O'Brien Funeral Home, 984 Avenue C, Bayonne. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, March 14th at 11 AM at Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich Parish at Saint Andrew the Apostle Church, 125 Broadway, Bayonne. Private-Cremation.
