She is also predeceased by her brother, Thomas Kelly, and sisters Dorothy Pennell, and Loretta Brown. She is survived by her dear sister and best friend Arlene Doran of New Milford, NJ, and her brother William and Maryann Kelly of Manasquan, NJ. She is also survived by her adoring children and in-laws: son William and Eileen Kelly of New Port Richey, FL, son James and Bronwen Kelly of Sarasota, FL, daughter Joanne and Roger Dunn of Leonardo, NJ, son Michael and Lillian Kelly of Union Beach, NJ, daughter Margaret and Robert Ferry of Union Beach, NJ, son Timothy and Karen Kelly of Hazlet, NJ, daughter Maryann Doren of Keyport, NJ, daughter Maureen Belmonte of Matawan, NJ, daughter Annette and Jack Ross of Charleston, SC, and daughter Ruthann and Wally Hipps of Charleston, SC. Marge grew up in Elizabeth, NJ where she attended Battin High School. Shortly after graduation, she married WWII Navy veteran William Kelly of Brooklyn, NY. Marge lived a challenging but fulfilling life as a wife and mother. Frequent moves due to job opportunities were difficult to manage with such a growing family. She has lived in Elizabeth, NJ, Metuchen, NJ, Westfield, NJ, Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Farmingdale, NJ. An additional move brought her and her then seven children to Hilo, Hawaii in 1961. After four years and two additional children, she and the family returned to their roots in 1964, living in Union Beach, NJ, where she had her tenth child and has resided until now.

Marge was an icon in Union Beach, a mentor to countless friends of her children. She was the quintessential mother and the embodiment of the philosophy that you take each day as it comes and make the most of it. Marge had a natural ability to find the good in every person, assuring each individual that they were special to her. She had a particular soft spot for children, who were often reflections of the unconditional love she projected into the world in abundance. Her sunny outlook and her zest for life have been an inspiration to all who ever had the pleasure to know her, qualities that will live forever in the hearts of her many children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the in her name.

Margaret will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Rt 35 Middletown, New Jersey 07748 on Thursday November 2, 2017 from 4-8pm. Prayer service will take place at the Funeral Home at 7pm. Interment will take place on Friday at 1130am at Shorelands Memorial Gardens in Hazlet.
