Marie relished holiday celebrations, shopping, and buying gifts for her family. She also loved to travel and visited many countries. To fully appreciate the culture of her employer, Fuji Bank, she visited Japan and took classes to learn the Japanese language. Marie was a kind, loving, and generous person with a keen mind and an active interest in the world around her. Her life was one of service to others, and she was beloved by all who knew her.

Marie is predeceased by her son John Patrick Creedon, her brother Sylvester Herold, and her loving parents John and Elizabeth Herold.
