- - Marion C. Beilin,age 90, passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. She is survived by a son, Robert A. Beilin and his partner, Lily Lee. Marion was married for seventy happy years to her late husband Alvin R. Beilin. Marion is also survived by four granddaughters, Robyn, Kristen, Katie,and Kai Li: a grandson Maddox and ten great grandchildren: Jordan, Avery, Tatum, Hayden, Henry, Noah, Finely, Audrey, Emmy and the late Ellie Cate. Also surviving is her loving sister Mary Petro and her husband Tufi Joseph Petro. Marion also had a deceased brother Frederick ( Sonny ) Reich and a sister-in-law, his late wife Carmella. Marion`s surviving nieces are Kathy, Ana, Chloe, Emily, Laura, Christine and the late Theresa Gambon. Marion`s surviving nephews are Michael, Douglas and Michael. Marion was born in Jersey City. She graduated from St. Paul of the Cross Commercial School. She worked as an assistant account executive for Neuberger & Berman, in Manhattan, prior to her retirement. She was the consummate working woman, long before it was culturally acceptable to do so. While her career in the Wall Street bond market spanned some forty years, during that period, Marion was extremely organized balancing her respective roles as an employee and, most of all, dedicated to her family as a loving wife and mother. Marion was an avid baker with her specialties being a honeycomb custard cake and her family's favorite Christmas sugar cookies. Marion was a communicant of St. Maximillian Kolbe R.C. Church in Berkeley Township. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 4-7pm at the Costa Memorial Home Boulevard and Central Avenue, Hasbrouck Heights. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, 11am at St. Anne's R.C. Church in the Heights section of Jersey City. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting the funeral home.
