Martin Belinsky Obituary
Martin Belinsky

AGE: 89 • Manchester Township

Martin Belinsky passed away on the morning of Sunday, July 16. He was 89 years old. Martin is survived by his loving wife Reina. He was a devoted father of three. Martin's oldest daughter Jeri passed in 1994. Jeri and her husband Joe gave Martin his first grand child Chiara. Martin's spirit lives on in his two sons—Daniel and Guy, along with their significant others Sue and Meryl—and Martin's seven grand children—Chiara, Lloyd, Hudson, Melanie, Alex, Alexis, and Christopher.

Martin was raised in Weehawken, New Jersey. He was one of two children. Martin served in World War II before graduating from the University of Florida. He spent his career as a pharmacist, first working in retail and then working at Bergen Pines Hospital.

Throughout his life, Martin challenged himself to experience new things and expand his knowledge. He was fascinated by technology and computers, and kept up with the latest technology throughout his life. Martin paid exceptional attention to detail, and as his vast pool of knowledge grew to match his wisdom over the years, he showcased his encyclopedic mind watching Jeopardy almost every night. Martin was well-traveled, having spent time in Iceland, Italy, and New Zealand.

For as wise and smart as Martin was, he will be remembered most for his unbridling love and support for his family and friends. His wife, children, and grandchildren were the joys of his life, and he devoted himself to supporting the people he loved. Whether it was driving several hours to take care of one of his grandchildren, guiding one of his children through a challenging life situation, or making his famous French toast in the morning, Martin was always there for his loved ones.

Martin's sterling example of hard work, determination, and integrity lives on through his loved ones. While he is no longer with us in body, Martin's love and influence will remain with us forever.

Graveside service was private at the request of the family under the direction of CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 625 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading, NJ 07064.
