Michael Angelo Renna Obituary
Michael Angelo Renna

AGE: 28 • Avon by the Sea

Michael Angelo Renna, 28, Dearest son and brother, of Avon by the Sea, NJ, passed into eternal rest on June 12, 2017.

A visitation will be held at Reilly Bonner Funeral Home, 801 "D" Street, Belmar, NJ., on Saturday June 17, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1 p.m at St. Elizabeth's Church located at 424 Lincoln Avenue, Avon by the Sea. The burial will be private.

Michael was born in Elizabeth, NJ on June 10, 1989, to Philip and Rose (nee Addesso) Renna, and was raised in Holmdel, NJ. He moved with his family to Avon by the Sea several years ago.

After graduating from Holmdel High School he attended Brookdale Community College. His tireless work ethic contributed greatly to the renovation of the Norwood Inn, a family business, that he was most proud.

Michael had a great sense of humor and a heart of gold and was always there for everyone. To have met Michael was to have loved him. He was a gifted athlete and a huge fan of the Yankees, Giants and Rangers. Most importantly, he made it his life's mission to assist his mother with her ongoing battle with stage four cancer, a battle she will now continue with his brothers. We will thank God every day for all the pleasure and love Michael gave us.

Michael is survived by his parents, Philip and Rose, as well as his twin brother, Nicholas, and brothers Peter and Vincent, all of Avon, in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless dear friends. He will be greatly missed.

Michael was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Peter and Carmela Renna and maternal grandparents, Michael Angelo and Giuseppina Addesso.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael's memory, may be made to Mary's Place by the Sea, PO Box 86, Ocean Grove, NJ, in support of women receiving treatment for cancer.
