Milton L. Brownlee, 63, of Brick, NJ, was called home to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ, on August 24, 2017. He was born on December 27, 1953, to the late Shirley Sheppard. He graduated from Middletown Township High School, Middletown, NJ, and was employed for 29 years as a caterer at Ultimate Caterers, Marlboro Township, NJ.

Milton was a gentle giant with a very warm heart who had a special place in his heart for children. He fought valiantly to recover from his illness and never complained. He was a member of Grace Bible Church, Monmouth County. He enjoyed talking about his religious beliefs, politics and current events and loved to watch football, Christian and old TV shows. He was an avid Oakland Raiders fan.

He was predeceased by his parents, brothers Ronald and Rodney Sheppard and aunts Carolyn Murray and Mary L. Holland and uncle Keith Brownlee.

He leaves to cherish his memory aunts, Shelia L. Bentley, NJ, and Karen B. Enous, NJ, cousins Kenneth Murray (Carmen), CA, Dr. Carolyn I. Murray-Burton, NJ, Nichole Brownlee, PA, Marlon (Jeaniene) Brownlee, FL, Brigette Bentley (GA), Michele Bentley-White, FL, Tanya (Gaston) Flowers, NC, Jacquelyn Bentley-Lewis, GA, Trevor Holland, NY, Anthony Holland, Elder Marcia Boynton, Tamala Holland, Michael Holland, all of NJ, Michele D. Enous, NJ, his brother at heart and cousin Emory (Cathy) Fields, nieces and nephews Nicole and Eric Fields, Emory II and Billie-Jean Fields, niece Carla Fields, Dimitri, Anthony, Jackson, Emory III, Angelina, Isabela, Nyssa, Illyana and Orion Fields, Toni and Marie Hill and Elliott and Leansa Biaz, all of NJ who knew Milton as their beloved Uncle Milt and many other relatives.

A memorial service will be held Sat., September 2, 2017, 9:30 a.m., at the Asbury Park Deliverance Center, 905 Sewall Ave., Asbury Park, NJ.
