AGE: 75 • Long Branch

Nancy M. Bozza, 75, of Long Branch, passed away, Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in South Amboy, she resided in Matawan before moving to Long Branch 32 years ago. She worked for Hartford Insurance Company, Red Bank, retiring in 2004. Nancy loved to bowl, do puzzles, and listen to music. She was also excellent at sewing.

Nancy was predeceased by her previous husband, F. James Maughan, in 1983; and her mother and father, Catherine (Daly) Toomer and William Toomer. She is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Louis Bozza; her loving children, Luanne Damen and husband Pete of Morganville; Nicholas Russo and wife Denise of Wall and Michael Russo and companion Loriann Yankunis of Keyport; two stepchildren, Michelle Maroney and husband Mike of Maryland and Genine Nealy and husband Dave of Ocean Township; her siblings, Carole Cicerale and companion Ron Boyce; Fred Brandigon and wife Adele; William Toomer and wife Lisa; and Tim Toomer and wife Donna; nine cherished grandchildren, Alec Damen; Shane, Dana and Nikki Russo; Michael and Matthew Russo; Raymond Rivera and Michael and Alysa Maroney; and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, February 24, 2017, from 4-8PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; and Saturday, February 25, 2017, 11:30 AM, with a 12:15 PM Funeral Mass at St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport. Interment will follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Nancy to the Jersey Shore Animal Foundation, P.O. Box 3870, Lakehurst, NJ 08733.
