Neale R. Jenkins
Bridgewater - 78, died September 19, 2018.
Neale was born in Trenton and raised in Pennington before moving to Bridgewater in 1990. He was employed by various air freight fowarding companies before becoming the president/owner of Cargo Trac. Inc. in Scotch Plains for over 25 years. Neale was an active member at Lamington Presbyterian Church and a participant in the Pluckemin Presbyterian Church Men's Breakfast Club. He was a member of the Somerville Elks BPOE #1068 and the Newark International Airport Managers Council. Neale served as past president of the Lehigh Valley Traffic Club. He was a season ticket holder for the Somerset Patriots and loved going to the games. Neale was an avid golfer and very proud of his two holes in one. In his spare time, Neale enjoyed traveling, collecting coins and commercial model airplanes. He will be sadly missed by all.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years Mary Hortman Jenkins, three daughters Barbara Jenkins, Elizabeth Jenkins, and Hope Woodhead and husband Robert, a sister Elsie Germond and husband Ronald, five grandchildren Abigal Honeycutt, Rebecca and Emily Jenkins, and Eric and Evan Woodhead, one great granddaughter Hailey Louise Honeycutt, and three nephews Ronald Jr., Robert, and Scott Germond.
Funeral services will be 10am Saturday at Lamington Presbysterian Church, 355 Lamington Rd, Bedminster Township. Interment will follow at Harbourton Cemetery in Lambertville.
Visitation will be 2-4pm and 7-9pm Friday at the Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home, 111 No. Gaston Ave. Somerville.
