Nicholas James Guadagno

AGE: 65 • Jackson Twp.

Nicholas James Guadagno, 65, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013, at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he resided in Marlboro, NJ, before moving to Jackson 4 years ago. On November 22, 2013, the world lost the most generous, caring, loving, selfless, honest, old-fashioned man on the face of the earth. And the world will never be the same.

He leaves behind his wife and love of his life, Linda Guadagno; his three children, Christina Lynn Bauer, Lisa Marie Guadagno, and Nicholas James Guadagno, Jr.; his son-in-law, Vince Bauer; his grandchildren, James Nicholas Guadagno, Jakob Christopher Bauer, and Logan Everett Bauer; his brothers, Carmine Guadagno and Pat Guadagno; his sister-in-law, Patricia Guadagno; his nieces and nephew, Jillian Lukach, Victoria Guadagno, and Pat Guadagno, Jr.; his cousins, Nick and Joanne Lamaruggine, Annette Costa, and Howard and Toniann Grant; and his beloved Aunt Nettie. Their lives will never be the same without him. He was the rock that held everyone together. He always wanted to be everywhere, for everyone-at all times. And now he was truly a unique man, and God broke the mold when he made him. No one can ever come close to filling his shoes.

He was a self-employed film buyer before his retirement. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Nicholas was a Communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Jackson. Mr. Guadagno was a member of Variety Magazine Club for 40 years.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Sunday, November 24, 2013, from 7-9 PM and on Monday, November 25, 2013, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral gathering will be offered at 10 AM on Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at the funeral home. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, NJ. Entombment will follow in Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel, NJ.
