AGE: 74 • Brick

Nicholas M. Fazio, 74, of Brick, N.J. passed away suddenly on September 10, 2017 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune City. He was born in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. to Nicholas and Mary Fazio on December 31, 1942. He was a self-employed master builder in Northern N.J. before relocating to Brick, 1992. He is survived by his son, Ronald Fazio and wife Joyce of Wayne, N.J., one brother, Thomas Fazio and wife Mary Beth of Akron, OH, three sisters: Dorothy Kramer & husband David of Woodland Hills, CA, Carol Seals of Buffalo Jct., VA and Margaret Palko & husband Andy of Eidson, TN, seven grandchildren: Lorenzo, Corrado, Antonio, Tyler, Matilda, Michael James and Marina Fazio all of NJ and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents of Scotch Plains, NJ, his son, Michael Fazio of Lawrenceburg, TN & his brother- in- law, William Seals of Buffalo Jct., VA.

He was a former member of the Elks Club Lodge No. 2151 of Brick for many years where he received the Elk of the year Award in 1994-95 and participated in numerous theatrical productions. In 1999, he joined the Metedeconk River Yacht Club where he competed in sailing regattas on the Grin. His hobbies included boating, deep sea fishing and snow skiing in many exotic locations throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. He was an avid NY Yankee and Jets fan. He loved his family and hosted many family gatherings at his home. His true joy were his grandchildren.

Visiting will be on Friday, September 22nd, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Colonial Funeral Home located at 2170 Highway 88 Brick, N.J. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 beginning 9:00 AM at St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church located in Brick, N.J. Burial will take place at the Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway, N.J. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting
