Nickolas J Tuyahov

Manchester - Nickolas J. Tuyahov, 84, of Manchester passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017.

Born in Istanbul, Turkey, he came to the United States in 1946 with his family. He was a graduate of Lakewood High School in 1950. After his high school career he went on to serve the Country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Nickolas continued his career as a self-employed builder, after his honorable service. He formerly resided in Howell where he was active in local politics, and was a member of RODINA. He was known for his support of the church and his community. For the past 14 years, Nickolas resided in Manchester with his wife Irene.

Son of the late John and the Elena (Pasqualini) Tuyahov, he is survived by his wife Irene (Klein) Tuyahov, son Nickolas M. Tuyahov, daughter Antonia Brooks and Peter Mazzella, four grandchildren Benjamin and Irene Brooks, and Alexandra and Nicole Tuyahov, brother and sister-in-law Alexander and Ellen Tuyahov, sister and brother-in-law Ann and Eugene Rupeiks, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation and Panikhida will be on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 8:30pm at St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, 200 Alexander Ave. Howell, NJ 07731. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 10:00am at the church. Burial will follow in St. Vladimir's Cemetery (Rova Farms Cemetery), Jackson.
