Pamela Hurley Barth ("Pamiliz")

Spring Lake - Pamela, of Spring Lake, NJ, and Fort Washington, MD, passed away peacefully on 30 December, 2017 after a 25-year battle with MS. She remained a positive light in everyone's lives until her very last day. She earned her Master's Degree from Dunbarton College and taught special needs children before embarking on her career as a bookkeeper. She was a communicant of St. Catherine/St. Margaret's Parish as a Eucharistic Minister, was a proud member of The Lay Carmelite Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary and volunteered at Wall Public library. She was active in the Spring Lake/Spring Lake Heights Garden Club and enjoyed knitting baby blankets for local charities. She supported many charities with various donations. She served in The Sodality of Our Lady of Divine Grace at St. Columba Church in Oxon Hill, MD. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Thomas, and her daughter and son-in- law, Stefanie and Mario Tango, along with a sister and several nieces and nephews. The memorial mass will be held January 20th at 9:00 AM at St. Catherine's Church, 215 Essex Ave, Spring Lake 07762. There will be a remembrance gathering immediately following the mass at Spring Lake Heights Fire House located at 700 6th Ave, Spring Lake, NJ 07762. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Pam's name to The MS Society or to Catholic Charities.
