Patricia Ann Griffith Obituary
Patricia Ann Griffith

It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia Ann Griffith announce her passing on Thursday, September 21, 2017. Patti died peacefully after a courageous battle fighting a rare brain disease known as Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

Patti was born on March 11, 1949, in Clifton, N.J., as the only child of the late James and Viola Sinnott, of Newark, N.J. She was a graduate of East Orange Catholic High School and Montclair State University.

Patti was a resident of Toms River, N.J. for much of her life. She collected many friends over the years while teaching at Island Heights Nursery School and serving at the Lobster Shanty, Office Lounge, and Toms River Elks (where she was also a member.)

She was known for her kind heart and her perpetual pursuit of paradise. After her move to St. Pete's Beach, FL., she found her endless summer, where she resided for many years.

Patti will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Kimberly Moran of Atlanta, GA. and son-in-law Michael Moran. She is also survived by her grandsons Mychal, age 10, and Quinn, age 8. The family is grateful to have celebrated the last two months of Patti's life with her in their home in Atlanta, GA. which was full of many laughs, memories, and visiting friends.

A huge thank you to the angels on earth from Suncoast Hospice of Pinellas County and Visiting Nurse Health System of Atlanta for their love, support, and care.

The family will have a private celebration of Patti's life. Friends and family can honor Patti if they wish by making a donation in her name to the Visiting Nurse Health System at www.vnhs.org/donatenow by specifying "Hospice in Memory of Patricia Griffith."
