Patricia Eileen (Landry) Baker Obituary
Patricia Eileen Baker (Landry)

Howell - Patricia, age 51 of Howell, NJ, passed away on December 26, 2017 from complications with her heart.

Patricia is survived by her beloved son Paul Baker Jr. (PJ) and his father, Paul Baker Sr., whom she remained very close to after their marriage of 28 years; her brother Charles Landry; sister-in-law Lori Landry; nieces Miranda and Cheyenne Landry; nephews Charles Landry Jr. and James Robert Landry; Aunt Patricia Rappleyea; Uncles Charles and William Rappleyea; Uncle Pat Landry; cousins Amanda Hilliard and Patricia Iacovelli; step-father Frederick Hotaling; several step-siblings; and many, many more loving relatives. Patricia was predeceased by her loving mother Eileen Hannah Hotaling; father James Joseph Landry; and brother James Joseph Landry.

Patricia was born on May 1, 1966 in Lakewood, NJ and grew up in Howell, NJ. She worked for over 30 years at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ, in Personal Property and most recently as a Competency Administrator. In 2013 Patricia received her Associate's degree from the University of Phoenix. She was well-known throughout her networks for her ability to solve any problem presented to her and made many special connections with military and civilian personnel by going above and beyond to help others in whatever way she could.

Patty will always be known for her infectious laugh and kind heart. She was generous, warm, and kind, always making time those in need, be they family, friends, or strangers. Everyone in Patty's life admired her quick wit and amazing sense of humor, which remained until the end. Patty was truly a special woman; her warmth and generosity were second to none and she will be missed by the many lives she touched in her short time with us.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at 11:00AM at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River on Hooper Avenue with a reception to follow at the Howell First Aid building on Kent Road. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Patricia's life.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Patricia's name to ASPCA or your local animal shelter. Patricia held a special place in her heart for all animals and cared dearly for her golden retrievers and rescue dogs.

All arrangements under the direction of the DiCostanzo family owned, Lakewood Funeral Home, Howell.
