Wall Township - Patricia Landers Gilligan, 79 of Wall Township, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at University of Colorado Hospital, Aurora, Colorado while on Christmas vacation with her daughter Tricia.

Born in Newark, Patricia graduated from Marylawn of the Oranges High School and received her Bachelors in Science from Immaculata University, Malvern, PA. She resided in Manasquan for 25 years before moving to Wall Township 15 years ago.

Patricia started her career in Manhattan at McCall's magazine and had worked in retail at Talbot's and later GAP in Sea Girt for over 20 years. As a shore resident, she was a communicant of St. Catharine Church and had volunteered at the Spring Lake Historical Society.

She took great pride in the accomplishments of her children and later her grandchildren. She was an avid reader her entire life.

She was predeceased by her parents George J. and Mary Legis Landers, her 2 brothers George J. Landers Jr. and Michael Landers, and her former husband James R. Gilligan.

She is survived by her devoted daughters Tricia Gilligan White of Sea Girt and Maura Gilligan Harley & husband Daniel of Paoli, PA; her 6 grandchildren- Maggie, Katie, Lizzie, Kerry, Shane and Erin; her brother Peter Landers & wife Karen of Wall; her sister Mary Cannon & husband Daniel of Spring Lake; her sister-in-law Michael Erbe Landers of Spring Lake; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35, Wall, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 3, 2017 at 10:30am at St. Catharine Church, 215 Essex Ave., Spring Lake. Burial in St. Anne's Cemetery, Wall.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in memory of Patricia to Immaculata University, Attn: University Advancement, 1145 King Rd., Immaculata, PA 19345.
