AGE: 77 • Port Monmouth

Patrick J. Gill, 77, of Port Monmouth, NJ, passed away surrounded by family in the comfort of his home on November 9, 2016.

He was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Port Monmouth, NJ for forty years. Patrick worked for Allied Van Lines for over 35 years. He also served with commendation in the United States Marine Corps. He loved to work in his beautiful garden and he was a devoted parishioner at St. Mary's R.C. Church of Middletown, NJ.

Surviving are his wife Emily Gill; daughter and son in law Susan and Edward Foster; son Sean Gill; son and daughter in law Kevin and Jodi Gill; son and daughter in law Brian and Meghan Gill; son and daughter in law Glen and Rosanna Gill; daughter and son in law Kathleen and Steven Mammolito.

Patrick was blessed with 14 wonderful grand children: Heather, Jenna, Brittany, Eric, Erin, Jake, Kylie, Julia, Patrick, Shannon, Liam, Declan, Ruah and Raegan.

Patrick was preceded in death by his daughter Kerry Ann Gill, his parents Hugh and Elizabeth Gill, his older brother Phillip Gill, and his older sister Margaret Sullivan.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 14, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday 9:30am at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:30am at St Mary's Chapel 26 Leonardville Rd. Middletown, NJ. Burial of Ashes will follow at Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge, NJ.
