Vern is survived by his sister, Joan Marotta; his sister-in-law, Mildred Irwin; his nephews, Kenneth Irwin and his wife Cindy; Gary Irwin and his wife Kathleen and Mark Marotta and his wife Linda; and many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Walton and his brother-in-law Frank Marotta.
