AGE: 92 • Raritan

Ralph James Curcio, 92, died on April 5, 2014. He was born in Raritan on January 20, 1922 to his dear parents Laura Romano and Harry Curcio. Ralph was a Warehouseman for Belle Meade Depot in Hillsborough; served in the U.S. Navy where he earned the Asiatic Pacific Ribbon (9 stars), American Theater Ribbon, and Victory Ribbon; was a member of the VFW in Raritan; and a Communicant of St. Ann's Church in Raritan. He was a drummer in a band; loved music; and was a kind, caring, generous person, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Ralph is survived by his loving sisters, Sally Kennedy, Annette DelRocco, and Carolyn Curcio; several dear nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and his former brother-in-law, Ralph DelRocco. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Emilie M. Curcio (9/13/2013); two brothers-in-laws, Andrew Walko and William Kennedy.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869 (908-725-1887). Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 starting with a viewing from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Ann's Church, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ 08869. Burial in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ.
