Ralph Stricker

AGE: 81 • North Brunswick

Ralph Stricker of North Brunswick, N.J. passed away on July 20, 2012 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 81 years old.

Born in East Brunswick, he has been a long time area resident. Ralph was a talented music teacher, and owner of the East Brunswick Academy of Music. He was actively teaching until very recently. He was a member of the Accordion Club.

Predeceased by a son, the late Michael Stricker, he is survived by a daughter, Kathie DeAndrea (Carmen) of Hopatcong, N.J. and two sons, Peter Stricker (Laurie) of West Caldwell, N.J. and Brian Stricker of Monmouth Junction, N.J. Also survived by five grandchildren, Shana, Gretchen, Emily, Brian and Jonathan.

The family will receive friends Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bronson & Guthlein Funeral Home of Milltown, N.J.

Funeral Service will be private. Memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be appreciated. www.bronsonandguthleinfh.com

Sixty two years ago a man taught me how to play the accordion and appreciate music. Who knew 25 years later he would be visiting me as a patient?
I will always remember Ralph. My deepest condolences to his family.
