Raymond Earl England Obituary
Raymond Earl England

Greenacres, FL - Raymond Earl England, 85 of Greenacres Florida and formerly a resident of Red Bank New Jersey, passed away on March 6, 2018.

Raymond is pre-deceased by the love of his life, Rose (Trimboli) England, and peacefully joined her in Heaven.

Strong and proud Father to: Donna (Jay) Halverson, Raymond (Jodi Murphy) England, Lisa (Keith) Sturn and Tracy (Bill) Miller.

This "Mountain of a Man" taught his grandchildren: Jared (Lauren) Halverson, Jill (Zach Siskind) Halverson, Raymond (Kate) England, Laura England, Amanda & Billy Miller, and Sean Sturn kindness, love and the importance of family.

Raymond, a Navy Veteran, always had several jobs, but faithfully served as the Superintendent of Public Utilities in Red Bank NJ for thirty years until his retirement in 1987.

A "Master Mr. Fix It" with unbelievable technical skills, Ray's energy was boundless. Ray served the Borough of Red Bank as a Volunteer Fire Fighter, member of the First Aid & Rescue Squad, as well as the Elks Lodge where his culinary skills were enjoyed by all.

Even with the part time jobs, various side businesses, and volunteer work, Ray always made time to enjoy his family and many friends in NJ and Pine Ridge South III in Florida. Trips to Casinos in New Jersey and Florida ( which Ray referred to as "Church") were just one example of his sense of humor and quick wit.

Raymond Earl "Inky" England's legacy will live on through his family and all the lives he touched throughout his abundant life.

Interment will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held on a later date.

Donations in Raymond's honor can be made to: Union Hose Fire Company, 161A Shrewsbury Ave, Red Bank NJ 07701 or Red Bank First Aid Squad, 151 Spring St., Red Bank NJ 07701.
