Regina D. Bremseth Obituary
Regina D. Bremseth

AGE: 97 • Tinton Falls

Regina "Jean" D Bremseth, 97, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at her home in Tinton Falls.

Born and raised in Bloomfield NJ, Jean served in the Women's Army Corp and worked at Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co (PPG), Newark where she met her future husband through a mutual interest in flying. After marrying in 1949, she worked as a secretary at Bamberger's and the Newark College of Engineering. She and Clark moved to Pittsburgh in 1972 where she worked at WQEDPBS and at the University of Pittsburgh before retiring back to the NJ shore.

When not taking care of her favorite granddaughter Jaime during the summers, Jean spent her spare time volunteering at Monmouth Medical Center, Jersey Shore Foundation, Ft Monmouth Officers' Wives' Club Thrift Shop and the Parker Family Center in Red Bank. The family will remember her for her art and antiques collecting and playing bridge weekly with her friends at the OWC. Jean loved social life but loved her family most of all. She is predeceased by her husband, Clark and her son Robert, of Elberon.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia and son-in-law George Brown of Lewes, DE, daughter Christine Bremseth of Tinton Falls, beloved 'Grammie' to granddaughter Jaime Brown and great-granddaughter Bailey of Lewes, De; and by many loving nieces and nephews with whom she maintained close relationships and bonds throughout her life.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Dorothea's RC Church, Eatontown on Saturday October 7, 2017 at 10:00am followed by a gathering at the church hall from 11 to 1. Interment will be held in April, 2018 at Arlington National Cemetery.

Donations in her memory are appreciated and can be sent to either Sisters of Mercy, 1106 Main St. Asbury Park, NJ 07712 or Parker Family Health Center, 211 Shrewsbury Ave, Red Bank, NJ 07701.

She will be forever loved and cherished as mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.
