Jackson - Robert Francis of Jackson, NJ, previously of Howell, NJ, age 82, died Sunday, February 25, 2018, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold.

Born in Jersey City, and raised in Teaneck, he and his family moved to Howell. He was a 1958 graduate from the University of Notre Dame. He was Vice President of Export-Import Services Inc., and DHL Airways. Bob coached youth basketball at St. Veronica's. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents, James and Anne Farrell; and his siblings, James, Jr., Edward, Mary, and Anne. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Charlotte (Sganga); his daughters Deborah Liudvinaitis (Dave) of Wall, Pegi James (Joe) of Barnegat, Nancy Costa (Frank) of Jackson, Gerry (Rob) Magan of Manalapan, and Anne Napolitano (Joe) of Millstone; and his sons Robert Farrell, Jr. (Michelle) of Pt. Pleasant, and Thomas Farrell (Linda) of Toms River; 11 grandchildren (Stephen, Bo, Robbie, Nicole, Tommy, Matt, Brianna, Angelina, Victoria, Gia and Connor) and one great-grandson (Stephen) and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at the DiCostanzo family owned, Lakewood Funeral Home, 6250 Highway 9, Howell on Thursday, March 1 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A funeral Mass will be held at The Church of St. Veronica, Howell, NJ at 10:45 AM on Friday. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Notre Dame Club of The Jersey Shore Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 7676, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702.
