Ronald Lewis Sensenbach, 72,died peacefully at home in Middletown NJ, on Friday, November 18, 2016 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Beth lehem, PA on January 27, 1944 to Lewis Franklin and Octavia Vivian Rice Sensen bach, also of Bethlehem. He is survived by his beloved wife, Frances Newbern Sensenbach (his "Rock"), his cherished grandson, Jus tin Philip Sensenbach of Red Bank NJ, his sister Jo Ellen Sensenbach McComb and husband Neil, of Lexing ton, KY, their son, William McComb and wife Stacy of Jupiter FL. Also surviving him are his brother-in-law Ken Newbern, wife Denise of Portsmouth VA, their daughter Leeann Francisco, her husband Derek Fran cisco and their two children. He is also survived by his aunt Gloria (Rice) Fitch, un cle Ethan "Bud" Rice, wife Joan, and numerous cous ins in the Allentown/Beth lehem area. Predeceasing Ron were his parents and son Philip Alan. Ron retired in June 2016 as an execu tive Marine Account Broker with AON, USA after more than 45 successful years in the insurance and maritime industries. Having forged lasting professional rela tionships with special col leagues and clients he was honored with the naming of a marine vessel, the M/V Ronald L. Sensenbach, and the presentation of its bell which he proudly displayed and rang. He was described by colleagues as having "a calm honesty, quiet dignity, and an insightful intellect." Ron's avocation for the last 25+ years was raising and training of Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd Dogs and competing in the sport of Shutzhund with fellow dog lovers. He was well liked and respected and enjoyed mentoring those new to the sport. Ron will be interred in Bethlehem Memorial Park, 1851 Linden Street, Bethle hem PA, where a memorial service will be held at the Mausoleum Chapel at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 22, 2016.
