Rosa DeMarco, 77 of Colts Neck died on Monday, May 22nd.

Mrs. DeMarco was born in Trevico, Italy. In 1961, she and her husband, Antonio came to the United States with their first two children and settled in the Vailsburg section of Newark where two more of their children were born. There they began a dry cleaning and tailoring shop. Rosa was proud that she and Antonio owned homes in Colts Neck, Rome, New York, Manchester and Barnegat.

For many years Rosa worked as a seamstress in the Colts Neck and Red Bank area. Rosa worked very hard and was extremely proud that all four of her children became professionals, earning their college degrees as well as graduate degrees. Rosa was a parishioner of St. Mary's RC Church, Colts Neck. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Rosa enjoyed cooking and hosting many family get-togethers.
